Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information that includes items about your rights and obligations when you use this service or order any products associated with Cook Buddy.
By using our services or products you agree to be bound by this set of terms of service and other conditions.

What these terms cover:
These terms and conditions act as a written relationship between Cook Buddy and you as a consumer, especially in regards to our service and products you can purchase from Cook Buddy.

Before purchasing a product from Cook Buddy we highly recommend you read these terms and conditions as they will provide you with information regarding who we are as a company, how we provide products for you, how you can change or end your subscriptions and what can be done if you have any issues with our service or product.

If we need to contact you as a customer at any point about any purchase or issue we will do so via email or phone call to whichever number or email address you have provided.

Ordering of a product:
Once you have completed your order through our website you will receive a confirmation email to let you know that your order has been completed and your product will be sent out to you. This is considered as the start of your contract with Cook Buddy. We will also send you and email if for some reason we cannot complete your order.

Where we deliver to:
Cook Buddy only currently delivers to locations in the United Kingdom. Some locations within the United Kingdom may have limited or no availability. If you are in one of these areas you will not be able to complete an order and will be set an email saying so.

How a subscription or one-off purchase works:
Cook Buddy offers subscriptions based on months, you will receive a Cook Buddy box per month. These packages range from a one-off purchase to a 12 month package.
Once you have purchased a subscription you have the option to make it a rolling purchase meaning that once your original purchase has expired it will automatically renew for the time period of the original purchase. You can stop this function but you will still receive the boxes you have already paid for each month.
You can also buy these packages as a one-off meaning that after you have received all boxes from the amount of months you have purchased the service will stop unless you go onto the website and purchase more.

In line with consumer contracts regulations 2013, we allow you to change your mind on purchases within 2 hours of placing an order. After this time period has passed each cancellation is taken on a case by case basis. If you cancel your order before the fulfilment of said order you will be entitled to a refund however we may not be able to offer this if your order is already fulfilled.

Here at Cook Buddy we do reserve the right to cancel orders or subscriptions if we are not able to safely complete it. If this is the case then we will make contact with you and inform you on the reason of this rare occurrence. This could also occur if you make an order outside or delivery radius (the United Kingdom). If these situations do occur we will offer a full refund to the customer.

All prices and offers on Cook Buddy subscriptions and boxes are clearly outlined on our website. Delivery price is included within these prices and will not be added on additionally during checkout.
Once an order has been completed the cost will not change for subscription orders. When purchasing a product you will be required to pay before the order is finalised, this will be via a bank card payment however alternatives like google and apple pay are also accepted.

Packaging:
Cook Buddy uses the same standard sized carboard box for each month and purchase. The contents will vary each month depending on the theme that month but the quality of the contents will remain consistent and you receive what has been advertised or as close as possible.

Delivery including costs:
Delivery to the United Kingdom is included in the price advertised on the website and you will not be charged extra for this. If the delivery of our product is delayed for any reason outside of our control we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know but we will not be liable for delays of this nature. Due to our product being a monthly subscription we aim to deliver each box during the last week of each month but this may run into the first few days of the new month.

Responsibility of product or any issues with the product:

Once you have received your product you are responsible for checking the quality of the product. If you have any issues with this please contact us via email or phone immediately and we will do our best to resolve your raised issue. Please take pictures and email them to us if you do find any issues with your box.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
